Creating a Sandbox and v2 prototype whiteboard proposal
Do any commiters object to creating a sandbox?
I have been implementing a prototype of the "next generation" container
(using some of the ideas that we had discussed earlier) and think it's
to a point where I'd like to start getting feedback and community
involvement. We had discussed creating a sandbox in the past and I plan
to create it and commit the prototype to it within the next several
days. Is everyone ok with that?
CVS Location:
<pluto-cvs-home>/sandbox/<whiteboard-proposal-name>
David
(some additional useless information)
I think that typically "whiteboard proposals" of this nature are
nicknamed by the community until they either are accepted or rejected
(struts has jericho for instance). Not knowing anything about Pluto,
I've done a quick google and found that pluto is part of the "Kuiper
Belt" of space objects. For east of discussions, I've thus nicknamed my
proposal "Kuiper" so that it can be easily referred to.

How about calling it Sedna now that Pluto is no longer the furthest planet
from the sun ?
After Pluto -> Sedna :)
cheers,
Serge...

Sounds interesting. I would say go ahead as you already have
something. Great! We should only be careful with "marketing"
this. Users should use the 1.0 version for now.

We should only see that this directory will not be in our release.
