I wasn't able to reproduce this bug following steps 1 -5. I do have a default
mail client installed on my machine. I also tried a few different scenarios
listed below and was not able to create this issue. Was the issue fixed with a
newer version of the software? Did you install a mail client and run this
scenario again? 

Windows 7 SP1 64-bit OpenOffice 4.1.2
