RE: [TSVN] Neon and compression

Hi,

You should probably direct this question to the users <ma...@subversion.tigris.org> @subversion <ma...@subversion> .tigris.org mailing list instead...

I remember that the list had a discussion quite some time ago about performance-problems resulting from the use of compression in Apache, that come from the buffering in the compression module.
This caused timeouts on large operations, IIRC.

I'm unsure about the details, so check the mailing list archives or closed issues in IssueZilla. I recall that the solution had to do with not allowing the compression.

regards,

Subject: [TSVN] Neon and compression

Hi.

I've been running som tests against a apache with compression enabled.
I can't seem to get any compression ratios at all.
As I understand it the http bit in TSVN and SVN in general are Neon based.
Doesn't Neon support compression? Or maybe I'm doing something wrong...
