The reason of incorrect formatting is using "compact" attribute on <DL> element. However, it is allowed to use it acc. HTML 4.01, the default CSS style sheet declares dl, dt, dd as block element (display: block) which makes it impossible to apply CSS property 'list-style-position' to definition lists because this property can be applied to elements with 'display' set to 'list-item' only.
Moreover this attribute is deprecated in favor of style sheets.
The patch removes "compact" attribute from the corresponding <DL> element.
