Benchmark?

Has anyone done a performance test of the tomcat HTTP server against apache?

Note that I know of. I'd be suprised if it was faster, though it shouldn't
be too bad. That doesn't mean you can't make a Java based HTTP server
as fast or faster than Apache as we did at one time do exactly that -- but
that was a totally different code base and neither here nor there.
