Q:SVG and Xserver ... semi off-topic ;-)

Hi! I'm trying to install X server in my Debian because I would make use of
SVG. The problem is that the X font server launch me an error at boot
process like this:

-Starting X font server: xfs /etc/rc2.d/S21xfs: line 100 161 aborted
-start-stop-daemon -- .....
already running.-

I think this is cause the X server don't work properly so it say me through
XFree86.0.log:

-Fatal Server error: could not open default font 'fixed'-

I've thought that probably any process crashed with xfs (pid still used) so
I've disabled my resin at boot and other processes like xdm and exim but it
isn't the problem. Always it says the same: already running, and the pid
(161 in the exemple) is always free!!

anyone can help me? it has happened to anyone at another time?

thanks a lot,

Raúl
