The compiled 2.4.x version of nunit framework that NMaven is using is not compatible with earlier versions of NUnit. Mono requires 2.2.x version.

[INFO] System.TypeLoadException: Could not load type 'NUnit.Console.ConsoleUi+EventCollector, nunit-console, Version=2.2.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'

We will need to compile a 2.2.x version of NUnit.Framework for use with Mono.
