[users@httpd] wait time for file stat/open/read -> how to limit
Hallo,
we are running apache 1.3.33 on Solaris 8. Some html docs are located on a
network file system.
Occasionally we see long wait times when a request tries to access such
remote located docs.
Questions:
a) how to analyze on which kind of information/resource the httpd process
is waiting?
b) is it possible to configure apache in that way, that a process
does not wait for the required resource over a certain limit and
came back with a certain error state?
Bye,
Harald
