Hi.. I have fixed this to work in the current state of the Standalone Distribution.  

There is a classloader related fix that I had to do in the binding extension.  So the patch for the extn. has also been attached

Then there are the two patches for RmiService sample and RmiReference sample.  There is a readme in these projects that describes how to run these samples.

Can somebody review this and commit please.... thanks.
