[users@httpd] How to simulate n requests to Apache

Hi all, i have this problem. I want to use *ab tool *to make N requests to a
web server Apache. The option -g have this output:

1.starttime
2.seconds
3.ctime
4.dtime
5.ttime
6.wait

Can someone explain me what is its meaning?
Someone have some good link?
