Eclipse Plugin, execution is blocked at breakpoint if run in debug

Run the servlet test via Eclipse plugin in debug mode. Set a breakpoint in the 
testcode so that control is passed to this point. Now sinc Progress 
Information dlg box is modal one can't give any user input to go past this 
breakpoint and its stuck. Only way to get out now is to kill the test client 
java vm
