[users@httpd] Unstable with POSIX threads on FreeBSD

Though the server is running it seems that it is quite unstable. Having a
lot signal 11 in the log files.

Any clarification whether pthread is support for apache 2?

Yes, Apache supports pthreads. FreeBSD, on the other hand, seems to have
some serious problems in its thread libraries, which is why threading is
turned off by default when building apache under freebsd. For more
information, search the archives of the dev@httpd mailing list.
