   Pipelines cannot be stopped or restarted if a pipeline element service crashes.
   
   This leads to an "orphaned" running pipeline which can only be restored by changing the running flag in the database.
   
   Imported from Jira [STREAMPIPES-367](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/STREAMPIPES-367). Original Jira may contain additional context.
