Enquiry regarding projects as a potential contributor

Greetings,

I am Manaswini Simhadri Kavali, from Bengaluru, India. I am currently pursuing
My undergraduate studies in Computer Science and Engineering, and am currently in my first year.
I was looking through the 2022 GSoC organization list, and came across yours and would love to contribute, and potentially work with you.

I have some experience working with C++ for about 2 years, and basic knowledge about C and HTML. I am also pretty new to open source as a concept in general, and I am interested in learning and exploring more. I would love to know if there is something open for me to work with, at the moment or connect with people which would help me learn more.
I am also looking forward to participate in GSoC 2023, so this would act as great experience before the actual project.

Just from C++, Apache Impala may be one of those projects which might interest you.

You should find the right project for you and ask there. We are not having
insights in specific projects in "general" here. Apache Software Foundation
has many projects and each of them is managed independently from each other
- you need to reach out individually to each project that you find that
matches your skill set and you might want to pick interest in.
