Fix build on amd64 platform by importing new config.{guess,sub}

Hi,

This patch imports config.{guess, sub} from autoconf 2.59,
and also adds in the Apache specific changes to those files.
It fixes building apr on amd64 platforms.

I do not have access to an amd64 system, but I
asked around on the freebsd-amd64@freebsd.org mailing list.
I asked people to check out from APR_0_9_BRANCH
and build it on FreeBSD on amd64. A few people tried
it out, and it worked.

Thanks.

Craig - can you check whether the APR 0.9 branch works on your amd64
platform? I've just added the minimally-disruptive change to config.sub
for 0.9 which should get this working.

It didn't make sense to me why things were like
that. When I merged the Apache-specific bits into
autoconf 2.59's config.guess file, I just
left things the way they were.

Really, someone from the Apache project
should make a patch and submit it to the
autoconf maintainer:

# diff and a properly formatted ChangeLog entry.

Alternatively, there is a web-based submission form at:
http://savannah.gnu.org/support/?group=autoconf&func=additem

Ah yes, I was forgetting that gen-build.py's output needs to work on all
platforms, not just the one it's run on so its get_platform() won't help.

I'll have a look at it if I get some time though I don't know much
python...

I think the {platform} thing in build.conf in general needs some work...

Really gen-build.py needs to create a build-outputs.mk which is
appropriate for all platforms which use configure & Makefile, with an
OBJECTS which uses $(OSDIR) and $(DEFAULT_OSDIR) as determined by
configure (though since DEFAULT_OSDIR is a constant for the Unix build
system that could be eliminated).

Done. For the 0.9 branch I think I'll just add the amd64->x86_64-pc
mapping to config.sub to make some FreeBSD hackers happy, rather than
risk breaking any of these platforms on the stable branch too.

just yank it for now to get back to GNU versions but leave the checks for os400
later in the build alone...

assuming we/they can get past buildcheck.sh ;)

Yeah, I noticed the build was broken on OS/2, tries to compile
dso/unix/dso.c.
So how do you test for the platform in python? Obviously gen-build.py's
get_platform() needs some work...

The script also needs to be smarter in that the OSDIR is optional, falling
back to unix if there's no OSDIR (EG apr/memory) which doesn't happen if I
simply change get_platform() to return "os2".

OK great, I removed the OS/2 changes too, that just leaves AS/400, does
anyone build on that platform still?

Some of these platforms are probably already broken with the new
gen-build changes since build-outputs.mk doesn't know about $(OSDIR).

Supposedly the non-standard code for zSeries (a.k.a. s/390) has now been
removed in apr HEAD.

Thanks for looking at this Craig. I notice you have left he conflicting
matches in the case statements, e.g.

    *:OS390:*:* | *:OS/390:*:*)
       echo s390-ibm-os390
and then
    *:OS/390:*:*)
        echo i370-ibm-openedition

this is really the problem which needs to be fixed...
