Anonymous classes can be replaced with lambda expressions in Java code, for example

*before*
{code:java}
new Thread(new Runnable() {
    @Override
    public void run() {
      // run thread
    }
  });
{code}
*after*
{code:java}
new Thread(() -> {
    // run thread
  });
{code}
