ActionFrom not refreshed

In my application  on submitting a page  that has given me a collection, i
iterate thru thu the collection, and am able to display the details..but on
resubmitting (for a specific DML), though data is fetched, on trying to
display the data, while iterating through the collection, the data is not
refreshed.- meaning old data is displayed
The ActionForm used is defined to be of session scope.
Has anyone faced an issue of this nature?
