We are getting a UnsupportedOperationException trying to sqoop import, not sure what the reason is. Other commands like list-tables, list-databases are working fine without any issues.

Hi Rajesh,
The call stack suggests that the sqoop that you're running is not compatible with CDH-4.0.1. Given CDH-4.0.1 contains Hadoop-2.0.0, Sqoop must also be compiled against Hadoop-2.0.0.
