> Every rocksdb instance in the Ozone cluster (across all daemons) has a db.checkpoints directory that is created. This directory is used for creating and storing checkpoints if requested. However, only the OM and SCM use this checkpoint creation, while all the datanode RocksDBs have empty directories lying around. We can change the logic  of creating this directory to be on demand, when the first checkpoint request is encountered.
