I don't know. There is something in the archives about why
we also have a copy on the website named forrestbar-0.8.xpi etc.
Anyway, i updated the doc to explain the extra step needed to
publish forrestbar changes. We will have to wait until someone
complains about the other issue.

Which indicates you did a manual update.
I found this 'testing forrestbar' thread :

This only mentions how to build and deploy it locally , nothing about
publishing it to our site.
So, on the 10/04/07 you updated the
site-author/content/xdocs/tools/forrestbar.xpi
and on the 19/04/07 you manually updated the
/site/tools/forrestbar.xpi
I'm afraid I don't see any other discussion on the hows and whys.
I'm assuming you built locally and copied it over to those locations before
committing/publishing.
I am happy to do whatever needs doing to update both versions and document
it, so whenever you or anyone else does get time to clarify anything ...

Not forrestbot.
Forrestbar publish is not straightforward. Sorry i don't have time to find out.
Try finding the last date that the file was published with 'svn log' or viewvc
then look in the dev mail archives around that time.

Thanks Carlos. We updated our code recently but forgot to update the website. When a committer gets around to it, there are some notes in our dev mail archives from last time we updated. Need to add those notes to: http://forrest.apache.org/procedures/How_to_publish_docs.html

I re-built and published it. Could someone with Firefox3 test the link please. Might need to wait one hour, as there is a publishing delay.
I updated the publishing notes to help us remember next time.
