Kevin Klues updated MESOS-5256:
-------------------------------
    Sprint: Mesosphere Sprint 35

> Add support for per-containerizer resource enumeration
> ------------------------------------------------------
>
> Key: MESOS-5256
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MESOS-5256
> Project: Mesos
> Issue Type: Task
> Components: isolation
> Reporter: Kevin Klues
> Assignee: Kevin Klues
> Labels: containerizer
>
> Currently the top level containerizer includes a static function for enumerating the resources available on a given agent. Ideally, this functionality should be the responsibility of individual containerizers (and specifically the responsibility of each isolator used to control access to those resources).
> Adding support for this will involve making the `Containerizer::resources()` function virtual instead of static and then implementing it on a per-containerizer basis. We should consider providing a default to make this easier in cases where there is only really one good way of enumerating a given set of resources.
