flume to kafka using snappy

Hi,

What's the best way to have flume output snappy compression messages to
kafka using the kafka-sink https://github.com/thilinamb/flume-ng-kafka-sink

Or in the upcoming 1.6.0 release

Would it be a serializer? Are there any samples?
