why appear "Done processing!!!"
Greetings
i'm reading the user's guide and in the sample that comes with the section
Custom Deployment - Introduction WSDD with file (deploy.wsdd):
<deployment xmlns="http...>
<service name="MyService" pro...>
<parameter name="className" value="sample.MyService"/>
...
</service>
</deployment>
and run the command:
$ java org.apache.axis.client.AdminClient deploy.wsdd
<Admin>Done processing</Admin>
when i don't have any file and my directory "sample".
I don't understand, so, the message "Done processing", what's the mean of
this.
thanks a lot for your attention.
best regards

Perhaps there will be a form for invoking the service here...
<-------------------->

Just to add some context to that, the AdminClient is used to deply the
webservice using the deploy.wsdd as the deployment descriptor. In terms of
seeing things happen, you could look at the server-config.wsdd file (which
is the file that axis uses to store information on the services it has
deployed) to find the entry created in there for your service by the
AdminClient.
Apart from that, you won't actually see much at all - especially in your
development directory...

Rather than using soapenc:arrayOfString, I suggest that you define your own
complex types.

hi,
Array is not defined as a type in XSD. U may look at the SOAP encoding which
has the defined array types.I beleive it is ok for yr prob to use the SOAP
encoding for arraya.

hi Jhon Sanabria
sorry,some wrong in previous mail.
first create a class that give the way to return the array of array (call
that class Array2 as a bean).
QName qn = new QName( "urn:myarray2", "Array2" );
then register that type
call.registerTypeMapping(Array2 .class, qn,new
org.apache.axis.encoding.ser.BeanSerializerFactory(Array2 .class, qn), new
org.apache.axis.encoding.ser.BeanDeserializerFactory(Array2 .class, qn));
then set return type as
call.setReturnType(qn);
then u can return the result using invke method in usual way

How to define an array of array of string
Posted by Jhon Sanabria <jo...@eisc.univalle.edu.co>.
Saludos
i'll be very thankful for your attention. i want to return, from one
web service, an array of array of string. How to define it in the source
code of the client.
QName QNAME_TYPE_STRING = new QName(NS_XSD, "string");
call.setReturnType(QNAME_TYPE_STRING);
i know that in the code above return a string, what's the code to
represent array of array.
thanks a lot for your attention.
Que esten bien.
Re: why appear "Done processing!!!"

In this example we are using the AdminClient to deploy the sample
Service which will simply echo the string you send it (see the file
/samples/userguide/example3/MyService.java).
The "Done Processing" indicates that the AdminClient successfully
processed the WSDD file.
You can then test the service as indicated in the User Guide.
