Suraj Nayak M commented on MAPREDUCE-6181:
------------------------------------------
As I was looking through other Example code in org.apache.hadoop.examples package, few other classes also has the similar deprication warnings while creating the Job object. Example, (Join.java, SecondarySort.java, etc.,). I think we can create a common JIRA for fixing all the deprication warnings in the examples package instead of only WordCount.java

> In the trunk branch the mapreduce-examples.jar contains a WordCount class. In which deprecated Job object has been used. So this Jira is to fix the deprecation warning.
> {code:title=WordCount.java|borderStyle=solid}
> // Currently : Job job = new Job(conf, "word count");
> Job job = Job.getInstance(conf);
> job.setJobName("word count");
> {code}
