[VOTE] Switch Apache Shindig Site To New CMS Site
Hi Everyone,
The infra team is getting a little impatient on finishing our move to
CMS [1]. I have moved a lot of the critical items over to the CMS
site [2]. There are somethings that are missing, like the FAQ page
and the Shindig Team page. There are also a few TODOs spread
throughout the site where information was out of date and the I didn't
think it was worth the time it would take to move it over to the new
site. At this point though I think we can cut over to the CMS site
and continue to improve it from there, so I would like to call for a
vote.

[ ] +0 Neutral
[ ] -1 Hold up there is something wrong!

I have reopened the infra JIRA to have the infra team move the site intro
production.

Ryan, when the CMS site is active, does it automatically disable the
svn pubsub from the generated_site directory?

What is the minimum amount that needs to be in place? I say do that much
so that any other enhancements made by others can get to production faster.
I don't see the point in making any changes that aren't absolute
prerequisites to going live in production.

I think Matt is right we need to fix the things he pointed out first
(thanks for the link Matt!). I am not sure if I am going to have time to
get to them this week although I think they are easy things to correct. If
anyone would like to take a stab at correcting them I am willing to guide
you along. If no one can do it we will have to hold off on switching over
until I free up a little.

+0. The site looks great and you did a great job Ryan; but, there are a
couple of small tweaks that you might want to make before pushing it out.
1) IMHO the Apache links under "Misc" need to be prominently identified in
order to be compliant with branding requirements. Maybe re-labeling the
category "About Apache" or something along those lines.
