Royale Docs layout almost ready
Hi all!,
I think latest combined efforts we have the Royale-docs layout ready.
Please take a look and let us know what you think.
https://apache.github.io/royale-docs/Get%20Started.html
(remember clean your browser cache, since you could not see the pages
correctly updated)
I think we should concentrate now of fill, fix and correct iterating all
what we can. Making stories and what we think will help people coming.
A good site where you all should look to get inspiration is for example
React docs: https://reactjs.org/docs/getting-started.html
I plan to start a Jewel part on frameworks and try to add real examples
like in blog examples.
Thanks

Hi Andrew,
it's ok for me. Please make the change yourself, and I'll update later as I
continue working on it.
I think the only needed thing is that "Components sets" is at the same main
level so it can hold the actuals items.
thanks!

@Carlos I notice that we have a Docs page called "UI sets" [1]. Elsewhere
we call them "Component sets". We should standardize on one term; I prefer
"Component sets" as "UI" includes a lot of things besides components.

Re: Royale Docs layout almost ready
Posted by Carlos Rovira <ca...@apache.org>.
Hi,
I could finally contribute to this repo thanks to the multiple changes of
Adrian. One of them is how to develop in local here:
https://github.com/apache/royale-docs
At the end of the page in the readme is this:
Build Locally
1.
Install Ruby+Devkit <https://rubyinstaller.org/downloads/>. Ruby is
required to run Jekyll.
2.
Install Jekyll <https://jekyllrb.com/>
3.
If you want to provide a local configuration copy _config.yml to
local_config.yml
4.
To build the docs run the following command:
The website will be rendered inside the _site folder.
5.
To browse the docs using built-in Jekyll server run the following
command:
The website will be availeble at http://127.0.0.1:4000/royale-docs/
