[jira] [Created] (MRM-2016) repository purge consumer also purges versions

Jason Grammenos created MRM-2016:
------------------------------------

Summary: repository purge consumer also purges versions
                 Key: MRM-2016
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MRM-2016
             Project: Archiva
          Issue Type: New Feature
          Components: repository scanning
    Affects Versions: 2.2.4
         Environment: ubuntu
            Reporter: Jason Grammenos

I am requesting a feature improvement/addition to the "repository purge consumer"
it would be nice to have the ability to pick a retention policy for versions.
This would allow for control of disk space as retaining versions forever slowly uses up all the avalible disk.

so just as one can set the retention for unique snapshots per version, i would like the ability to set retention (days or count) for versions.
