Geronimo integration
On the On the ServiceMix site is so many buzz about
FULL_INTEGRATION_WITH_GERONIMO ...
...but after half year, when I last try to deploy SM to Geronimo there are
no progress :(
The latest "
http://incubator.apache.org/servicemix/geronimo-integration.html HOW_TO " on
the last step produce just the "very informative" message
java -jar %GERONIMO_HOME%/bin/deployer.jar install-plugin
c:\$$MAVEN.REPO$$\org\apache\servicemix\geronimo\servicemix\3.0-incubating\servicemix-3.0-incubating.car
Username: system
Password:
Checking for status every 1000ms:
Installation FAILED: Cannot install plugin
org.apache.servicemix.geronimo/servicemix/3.0-incubating/car on Geronimo
1.1.1
Can somebody from SM-team advice me something as for Geronimo-integration?
Is it really too hard document correctly the things, what’s already done? I
don't believe that somebody use this "world wide known Geronimo
integration“...

Actually i just follow with this
http://incubator.apache.org/servicemix/geronimo-integration.html manual ,
and as i see - there are defined Geronimo 1.1.1 as base version. I tried it
also with 1.1 with same results. As u can see - the
http://incubator.apache.org/servicemix/geronimo-integration.html manual
contain two confusing (1.1 at the title and 1.1.1 below) versions of
gerinimo distributions. I want to check just "my_first_hello_world"...
/....but it is still impossible :(
BTW - why it should be some Web-Application? I want to use it as
Geronimo-plugin with full JBI-advantage! It is the "most-powerfull-feature"
in comparison with http://mule.muleforge.org/ Mule , as defined by

If you use Geronimo 1.1, you should have prebuild plugins available
already (ServiceMix 3.0.1). Is that what you tried ?
Another solution is to just use apache-servicemix-web distribution
which is a standard web application that should be able to be deployed
on any web container.
