[Bug 120791] Paragraph formatting bug: too much vertical space between paragraphs

The paragraph line uses as much space as needed for the characters. You have
used "square"-signs with a character size of 20pt in those paragraphs, although
the other characters are only of 9pt.

If you will force the lines to a spacing that fits to 9pt, you have to use a
fixed line height. Otherwise the line height is set to the largest character.

That has nothing to do with "Spacing above paragraph" or "Spacing below
paragraph" but is the setting "Line spacing".

You can use a square shape, which is anchored as character, instead of the
"square" sign.
