--- Comment #1 from rainerbielefeld <ra...@bielefeldundbuss.de> ---
I can confirm that AOO dev shows "svg overflow.svg" very different from FF and
IE (What are also different to IrfanView with CADImage.dll, what also shows
left and top parts of drawing (left vertical green and black lines and top
black and green lines (what exceed view box?)). For example part of black area
square with red borders above top horizontal blue line is missing.

Steps how to reproduce Reproducible with "AOO 4.0.0-Dev – English UI / German
locale [AOO400m2(Build:9701) - Rev. 1495357
Rev.1495357 2013-06-23]" on WIN7 Home Premium (64bit)", Common 4.0-dev User
Profile:

1. From AOO Start Center open attached sample document via menu 'File -> Open'
2. Open Copy of Sampel document with Browser
3. Compare

Additional info:
a) Not a new problem, already visible with AOO 3.4.0
b) Same when you use menu 'Insert -> Picture -> From File' for DRAW or Writer
   Document
c) Competitors:
LibO 4.0.3: Insert Picture from File same as AOO, Open in Draw unusable
Calligra Karbon: Result not perfect, but this particular problem seems not
to
   exist
SoftMaker FreeOffice: Seems not to support .svg
