Upgrading Solr 7.7.1 to 8.11

Hi, everyone.  My name is Sandra and i am from Uruguay, South America.
That's why my That's why my writing could be fuzzy. I hope you can
understand me.

 We are planning to upgrade a cluster using a rolling upgrade model from
7.7.1 to 8.11

Our Solr Cluster is  an external Apache-Zookeeper- version 3.5 installed in
a Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 7.5 with java version "1.8.0_201"

We know that we have to upgrade Apache-Zookeeper version from 3.5 to
 v3.6.2 but not the java version.
The doubt is: What about de operation system? Do we have to upgrade it too?
