[jira] [Commented] (RAVE-869) Maximized gadgets that are larger than the screen conflict with the rave footer and background.

Chris Geer commented on RAVE-869:
---------------------------------

I fixed the issue with the footer being seen over the canvas view but I'm not sure what to do about the background container not being large enough. The issue is derived from the fact that the height of the canvas-overlay is calculated before the widget going into to canvas mode had resized itself (dynamic height). The only way I can think to solve this is to put a ticket into SHINDIG to add a listener on a gadget resize so we can trigger things as well. Does anyone else have any other idea?

The other option would be to not have canvas use absolute position but I don't know how we could make that work.

> Create a new page, add the Activity Streams gadget then maximize it. You will see that the footer is overlapping the gadget near the bottom and the background doesn't resize to fit the whole screen.
