Where's ognl-*.jar in Tapestry 3.0 rc1 binary?

Just scanned my Tapestry-3.0-rc-1-bin.zip for an ognl.jar. Nothing!

I remember that ognl-2.5.1.jar and ognl-2.6.3.jar were in lib/ext in my beta 3
resp. beta 4 binaries.

Is it missing by intention?

Greets
Michael

Same applies for javaassist*.jar :-(

beta4 has 11 jars in lib/ext... rc1 only 9.

If this is the new permanent way of doing business with apache, I think
you need, in the base directory of the archive, make it known in big
bold letters... something like a file named "MISSING-LIBRARIES.TXT"
telling you which REQUIRED jar files are not in the distributionand
where to download them. This should exist in both the bin and the src
download. Regarding RC1 I looked at all the .txt and .html files in the
base directory and it makes no mention that these need to be downloaded,
much less where to get them.

It seems that these two libraries (or at least ognl) are the heart of
HOW Tapestry operates. It seems that it is introducing a barrier to new
adoption. The practice of not including them should be either rethought
-OR- make it painfully obvious they are missing and how to remedy the issue.

Yes, the distribution policies at Apache have been made stringent and so
non-Apache style licensed software cannot be distributed. However
building the examples (Workbench/vlib) should automatically download and
install all dependencies and run the examples. If you simply want to use
the binary, unfortunately for now, you will have to download the OGNL
and Javassist yourself.
