Using RamFileSystem

I am very new to Apache VFS so please bear with the question. The size of a
file using RAM provider cannot be more than the 2 GB - am I right? Also are
there ways to say that I do not want to use more than X GB of memory for RAM
based files or do I need to keep track of these things myself? If so could
someone please tell me how to do so? Are there any good tutorials about
using VFS API?
