FW: ant task contrib

All,
 
I would like call a webservice from an ant task, and there dont seem to
be any implementations to do this.
 
So would it be appropriate for me to write the task and for someone to
contribute it?
 
It would be very simple aka:
 
<callwebservice endpoint="${endpoint}" soapEnvelopeFile="${soap.file}>
    <operation localPart="${method}" namespaceURI="${namespace}">
</callwebservice>
    
is there anything in dev right now? or should I just go ahead?
