[magic] FW: pros and cons!

Magic fans may be interested in checking out the link provided by Roger
Day concerning a spec dealing with 'installable units'.  I haven't read
though it yet but a quick glance suggests that this maybe relevant to
both magic and some of the things we are doing in repo.

Our impetus was three different build-and-install systems (windows,
unix, classic mac) for a large grid of customisations.
