I've tried to fix it without success on 5.0.9 (unable to use Konqueror debugger)
See bug 987 cloned, you have already fixed a bug very similar.
So it works in 4.1 (I supposed, haven't tried it) but not in 5.0.9

Fixed by Andreas Andreou ("It looks like methods 'add' and 'remove' of HTMLCollection objects do not exist") on T4 in 2006.
Tried to debug javascript in konqueror 3.5.8 installed in a clean Ubuntu, without success (impossible to set breakpoints).
