Debug log with info on "Old message cleanup failed due to:
com.sap.dbtech.jdbc.exceptions.DatabaseException: [-9404]: System error: AK System error: VAK724 1" error for MaxDB.

FYI, this is using MaxDB 7.5 (Debian Sarge package), and the sapdbc-7_6_00_12_4339.jar JDBC driver. I don't expect MaxDB 7.6 to behave any differently than 7.5 in this regard, however.
