[Issue 126034] New: Copying in a filtered selection blanks out
non-filtered items
https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=126034
Issue ID: 126034
Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: Copying in a filtered selection blanks out
non-filtered items
Product: Calc
Version: 4.1.1
Hardware: Mac
OS: Mac OSX, 10.9
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: critical
Priority: P3
Component: editing
Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org
Reporter: hadouma@gmail.com
I apply a filter on a column and filter out a certain value. In the records
that are displayed as a result of the filter criteria, I copy a value from the
first record into all following records by dragging it. It appears that OO Calc
copies these values also into the records that are NOT displayed.
I expect non-displayewd records to be ignored. They do NOT part in what I am
doing at that moment. This behavior makes it impossible to
- select records based on a criterion
- make changes to all these records
I now will have to enter the value into each and every record individually
instead of simply copy it over.

I don't reproduce what you described.
The copied value appears only on filtered cells.
Please provide a sample ODS and a step-by-step procedure to reach your problem.
