Refactoring has been an order of magnitude easier since using annotations for everything, but I'm still getting bitten by test cases using manually written component descriptors. These all need to go ASAP.

Resolution: Fixed
All component metadata is now generated from annotations or javadoc markers with the exception of a couple components that have embedded configuration.
