Apache Forrest project considering retiring to the Attic

For a number of years the Apache Forrest project has been in low-activity maintenance mode, as explained in the quarterly Board reports.

There had been hope for new committers and new development ideas, but these have not eventuated.

In June 2019 there was another opportunity for discussion and expression of renewed interest, on the developers mailing list:
