[jira] [Commented] (DRILL-16) Cassandra storage engine implementation

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DRILL-16?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13736920#comment-13736920 ]

Jonathan Ellis commented on DRILL-16:
-------------------------------------

Brian is correct; Gora does not support modern Cassandra data modeling with CQL, let alone "advanced" features like Collections.

This kind of lowest-common-denominator design kind of comes with the territory when the goal is to be able to swap one backend out for the other, but it's not likely to be useful for production Cassandra users.
