Alternatives to python couchapp

Are there any simpler or web-based alternatives to using the Python
Couchapp? (apart from node.js or anything else requiring additional
installs)

I just want to be able to work on my couchapps from any computer
without requiring extra installs like python, python-dev etc. Is there
another way of syncing? Maybe even a web-based app?

It's a pity Futon doesn't let you edit the html/css/js files. Or are
there any online editors which can access couchdb attachments?

Thanks,

Marcus

Reupholster is very stable....I am using daily. The webstart version
is a bit behind, so just download the jar from google code downloads.

Reupholster has a slightly different (better) folder names than the
other tools. The main folder is called html. You can delete what is in
there and replace it with all your stuff.

I am realising some new features today on it. You dont have to wait,
though. But i was going to post a blog entry on how you can now just
edit files on github (ace editor) and reupholster will then auto push
to you iriscouch instance. You dont even have to have anything
installed locally! So you could develop on any machine, just all web
like.

you can just replicate

http://couch.arandomurl.com/inception/_design/inception/index.html

to your local couch and start playing with it, its only just usable, however
as max mentioned its a proof of concept and not fully featured in the
slightest

you can use the python couchapp tool to install it. it has some basic
functions, but it's just a proof of concept. you should fork it and add
features!

Thanks Max,

Inception sounds interesting. Is it usable? Are there installation
instructions anywhere?
