Adrian Crum commented on OFBIZ-6316:
------------------------------------

The entity audit feature might work for this.

> Key: OFBIZ-6316
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OFBIZ-6316
> Project: OFBiz
> Issue Type: Improvement
> Components: workeffort
> Affects Versions: Trunk
> Reporter: Pierre Smits
>
> Currently the WorkEffort entity has a field called revisionNumber. This field is updated through the simple method 'updateWorkEffort' in WorkEffortSimpleServices.xml. However, this method overwrites the existing record, in stead of creating a new record.
> In order to retain the changes on a workeffort the method should create a new record for each revision.
