Working copy not locked; this is probably a bug, please report

I am using subversion for eclipse..and whenever i try to update or replace
with from repository i get this error i've tried changing all kinds of
different configuration file and nothing has worked.  Any suggestions?

update -r HEAD C:/eclipseWorkspaces3.1.1/test/everest
    Working copy not locked; this is probably a bug, please report
svn: Working copy 'C:\eclipseWorkspaces3.1.1\test\everest\build\com' is
missing or not locked


Do you think this is a subversion thing or Subclipse....

Did you not see my answer on the Subclipse mailing list?

That answer is 100% for certain your problem, unless the above folder 
named "build" is not your build folder.
