Conversion from HTML to DOC or DOCX

Hi all,

In my project I have a set of HTML files, many of which contain embedded
images delivered by the   tag. Using POI I would like to convert these files
to DOC or DOCX. Searching this forum I only find topics on conversion in the
opposite direction. Can anyone please point a POI newbie in the right
direction by providing code snippets or other explanation?
