RE: encoding and � and �! <- BUG

The "after" looks fine.  Transfer-encoding of
quote-printable is a reasonable choice.  The last step
is where it's broken.  The apparent body encoding is
qp, but the claimed encoding is 8bit.  That's wrong.

To me your other mailserver hoses the qp message's
header not James.
