[dev] [jira] [Commented] (LIBCLOUD-173) OpenStack service catalog parameters should be user-specifiable

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LIBCLOUD-173?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13235193#comment-13235193 ]

James E. Blair commented on LIBCLOUD-173:
-----------------------------------------

The service type, name, and region parameters should be able to be specified when instantiating the generic OpenStack driver. By doing so, users can use the generic OpenStack driver to talk to any OpenStack provider without needing to subclass.
