[jira] Commented: (GERONIMO-1702) The latest maven 1 Build process

Anita Kulshreshtha commented on GERONIMO-1702:
----------------------------------------------

rev 383651 :
1. "maven m2" creates a geronimo-kernel...jar in .maven and .m2 repo. The same is true for "maven new -Dm2=true"
2. A missing maven.xml does not mean that the module is using m2 build.

Hi Anita,

I don't understand what we need the JIRA task for. Unless you
elaborate a bit, I won't be able to help with it.

As to the comments of yours above, the reason to upload the jars into
M1 and M2 repos is to support them during our migration.

Jacek
