[users@httpd] apache proxy doesn't delete files over limit

Hi,

I'm using Linux (Red Hat 9) with Apache 2.0.48 (self compiled) with proxy,
cache and disk_cache modules. I set the CacheSize to 2000000 in the
httpd.conf, which means 2GB, right?

Now, after running apache for a couple of weeks, I noticed that the proxy
directory has more than 4.5 GB of cached files!

I configured the server as follow:

    CacheRoot "/var/proxy"
    CacheSize 2000000
    CacheEnable disk /
    CacheGcInterval 4
    CacheMaxExpire 24
    CacheLastModifiedFactor 0.1
    CacheDefaultExpire 1

Can anyone help me with this? Thanks in advance,
Michele

Hi Joe,

first of all, thanks a lot for your answer!! At least now, I know I didn't
do anything wrong ;-))

Do you know something about the development status of the garbage
collection? Where can I find out some more information? Is there some devel
website?

Thanks in advance,
Michele

Unfortunately garbage collection isn't implemented in 2.0's
mod_disk_cache: you'll have to do this yourself for the time being.
(e.g. using 'find -atime' from a cron job)
